At this point conventional therapies available here in Alberta have failed Lianne, so other alternatives are being sought. Outside Canada there there are many important cancer centres. However, being treated in the U.S. or other countries can cost tens of thousands of dollars and upward, and that doesn't include accommodation and transportation. Naturopathic medicine provides promise, but is not covered by our health care system.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help with expenses that are not covered by health care insurance, alternative treatments to supplement Lianne's current treatments at the Cross Cancer Institute, and day-to-day needs such as housekeeping and childcare.
ALL proceeds will go directly towards helping the Hanson family.
